About Darius

Business questions.
A legal and software perspective.

I work at the intersection of entrepreneurship, legal practice and software development.

Darius Kaler, entrepreneur, lawyer and software founder

As an attorney and managing director of KALER Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH, I deal with business decisions through contracts, responsibilities and legal requirements.

As a software founder, I work on how those requirements translate into processes, permissions, interfaces and review. SILCROW and KALINA are part of that practical perspective.

My focus is the connection between the two: understanding what an organization needs, defining the relevant boundaries and developing a practical approach to implementation.

Working principles

What guides
the work.

01

Start with the process

Understand who does the work and how a decision is made.

02

Make responsibility explicit

Identify who can use information, review output and approve the next step.

03

Test the exceptions

Agree on how to handle missing information, uncertain output and failures.

04

Make the handover practical

Document the workflow and the people responsible for operating it.

Your next step

One process is
a good place to start.

Tell me where work gets delayed, repeated or difficult to review. We can discuss what an appropriate next step looks like.
